Help save the environment! A disposable menstrual pad damages our environment in so many ways. You can make a choice to use re-useable cloth menstrual pads … it’s a lot easier than you think!
Cloth pads are reusable indefinitely (you probably won't use them enough to wear them out); the are machine washable, made from soft natural cotton fabrics so they are much less likely to irritate sensitive skin; and they are more comfortable than you could ever imagine. Cloth pads are a healthier alternative for your body ... not full of chemicals.
These 6 Economy pads are made from 2 outer layers of flannel, 3 inner layers of absorbent hemp fleece and a barrier layer of breathable nylon. The softness of the flannel allows for conformity with the natural shape of your body. These are a simple to use all in one design, designed for less fuss and much easier use. They fold into themselves for easy carrying before and after use. They wash and dry quickly for added economy. Our pads have wings to snap closed and keep the pad in place.
You may ask: How many pads will I need? The average woman will need at least 12 pads to get through an average cycle. This of course is dependent upon how often you do laundry. Cloth pads needs to be changed just as often as a regular disposable pads and we recommend washing every second day.
Washing Instructions:
Soak in cold water for up to 24 hours. Machine wash as you would any other article of clothing. Do not use bleach or fabric softener as this will affect their absorbency and may also cause irritation. Dry. Soaking in water usually removes all staining. If a stubborn stain persists, pre wash with soap, but again don't use bleach or fabric softener.
It is a good idea to wash your pads prior to the first use.
Prints will vary ... sorry no choices.
